J B & S Lees

JB&S Lees are manufacturers of cold rolled strip in mild, carbon and alloy steel grades, pinpoint carbide strip and bi-metal strip for metal saws.

In addition to a full range of precision cold rolled strip in mild, carbon and alloy grades from 0.20mm (0.0079 in) to 3.00mm (0.1181in) thick, JB and S Lees produce hardened and tempered strip for narrow bandsaws, a unique pinpoint carbide steel strip for metal cutting bandsaws and a bi-metal strip for composite saw blades.

Development of materials to meet specific customer needs is an essential element of the Lees service and a modern fully equipped laboratory supports this facility.

Continuous investment has ensured that Lees utilises the latest production plant available for the manufacture of precision strip products. Lees has a well established position in major export markets around the world, and JB and S Lees Inc. was established over 25 years ago with offices and warehousing facilities in Fairfield, New Jersey to service the important North American market.

Firth Cleveland Steel Strip

Firth Cleveland manufactured of a wide range of specialist hardened and tempered spring steel strip used for the production of hand tools, precision blades and springs. The business produces a wide range of strip steels in medium carbon, high carbon and low alloy grades.

There is no such thing as a standard product at Firth Cleveland and the company's flexibility gives it the ability to manufacture strip products to customers' individual requirements.

Firth Cleveland Steel Strip offers a range of surface finishes and colours and can provide strip with dressed or ground edges for particular applications.

Firth Cleveland strip is used by leading manufacturers of hand tools, precision blades and springs in over 50 countries worldwide.

Sales in North America, Mexico and Brazil are serviced by a USA subsidiary, Firth Cleveland Steels Inc, from its offices and warehousing facilities in Fairfield, New Jersey.
